Kontab stores all user data locally in your browser using localStorage. We do not operate a database or backend server. We do not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information.

Questions and coach responses are generated using the Anthropic Claude API. When you use the quiz or Ask Romanes features, your prompt is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. We do not store these requests. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle API inputs.
We may use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data such as page views and session counts. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users. You can opt out using your browser's privacy settings or a standard ad blocker.
We do not use tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies for session measurement purposes.
All data is stored in your browser's localStorage. It persists until you clear your browser data. We have no ability to access or delete it on your behalf.
Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to provide, export, or delete. To remove your Kontab data, clear your browser's localStorage for kontab.co.
